Print all column names in SSMS (SSMS trick)

Every once in a while I come across some “hidden” and nice features in SSMS. One of them is really nice if you want to print all columns names of a table.

So instead of writing all the column names by hand you could follow these easy steps.

– Open SSMS
– Expand you database
– Expand your table

And then drag the folder called “Columns” to your query window

Delete multiple objects in SSMS (SQL Server Managment Studio)

Have you tried to delete multiple objects in SSMS at the same time? It does not look like it’s possible. How annoying!

But it is possible. If you open a database, then mark “Tables” and hit F7. Then you can select multiple objects in the new window.

Delete multiple objects

This multi selection can of course also be used with other objects.
